This is such an excellent flooring company and I would recommend them in a heartbeat! We received superb customer service both from the administrative team (so prompt and professional) and the very nice men who came to work on the home. They took their time to take everything out of the home and cover up the home as best as they could to reduce the effects of the dust. They provided superior workmanship, done in a time efficient, but careful manner. They did our entire downstairs and it looks truly amazing! To top it off, they cleaned the home SO well when they finished AND moved all of our furniture and carpets back. Seriously, you cannot beat their service. Shadow Wood, THANK YOU!

This is the 5th time I've done business with Shadowwood. First three on my properties, and this last time when I did some of the design work for a neighbor. As always, Pedro did the initial measure and quote. He has years of experience in all the latest and greatest options, but only works with those vendors he knows he can stand behind. Miranda answers all the question about installation over an existing floor. And Idelfonso, the installer, was superb. Meticulous workmanship. Not easy, in a older home. The floor had to be patched before laying the Luxury Vinyl. He even went the extra mile to try to remove a few squeaks (which we were not concerned about). Wish all trades took as much pride in their work!!! Would definitely recommend them again. (and again).

I can not say enough good things about Shadow Wood Flooring & their sister company SWF Water Damage, Inc. We had an issue with a leak around the toilet in our half bath on the main level of our house which caused the wood floors surrounding it to start warping. We had initially noticed the issue before Thanksgiving & had a plumber come out to fix the issue (or so we thought), but unfortunately this past weekend we started noticing signs of fresh leaking. Not wanting to use the same plumber & not knowing anyone who could fix the wood for us I did an internet search which led me to Shadow Wood Flooring. They are very close to us so I walked in on Tuesday afternoon to see if they did repair work for small areas and if not could they recommend anyone, as well as to see if they had a trusted plumber they recommended. The sweet couple at the front desk were very helpful & shared the name of a recommended plumber they had coordinated with on previous jobs & took down my information & requested I send an email with pictures of the damaged area & also a picture of the box of leftover wood I had that the builder had left from years ago. They weren't sure if they would be able to help as it was a smaller repair & they were busy with repair work from so many burst pipes from the deep freeze over Christmas weekend, but they would see what they could do. Fast forward to Wednesday AM at 9:30. Not only had the plumber they recommended been able to come out Tuesday evening (the flange was cracked, something the previous plumber failed to notice), but Miranda (the owner) sent Pedro out Tuesday evening as well to assess the water damage & evaluate our options (we ended up being able to use the wood we had on hand accepting that there would be some color variation due to age), and Idelfonso & Lester showed up Wednesday AM at 7:30, went straight to work, & we’re done by 9:30! They were clean in their work & stayed within their work estimate. While we understand that the stars aligned in our particular situation & the crazy expedient timeline we encountered might not be possible in every situation, we have no doubt that anyone using Shadow Wood Flooring will be 100% satisfied. The staff at the store was very friendly, as were the folks that installed. They finished 1,000 sq/ft of laminate in a single day (about 12 hours of solid work) and did a great job. It's been a couple months now and everything is holding up well. We're very happy and will return to Shadow Wood Flooring next time we need something!

We had a great experience with Shadow Wood Flooring. We got new LVP on our entire main floor and new carpet on our entire upper floor. Pedro came out to our house to help us decide on the best choices for our house. They were out within a week of our consultation to install our LVP, and Alfonso and the team did a BEAUTIFUL job. We found Shadow Wood Flooring based on recommendations on Nextdoor. They replaced both floors of our entire house (hard wood downstairs and LVP upstairs, and redone all stairs). They came to our home to do the estimate on the same day when we contacted them, then completed all the work in the next three days. We cannot be happier with the entire experience and the final outcome. Highly recommended!

We were referred to Shadow Flooring by a neighbor who highly recommended them. We had nothing but a great experience from start to finish. They have a nice store on Jones Bridge which was easy to find and stocked with a nice variety of carpeting and wood flooring options. Pedro, the owner, was extremely knowledgeable about the installing process and Miranda gave wonderful insight into the carpeting and wood brands/styles they had available. Pedro came to the house to measure and work with the installers. They were able to provide an estimate in a timely manner and were able to schedule the project within a week. Our project included carpeting of 3 bedrooms, and installation of new hardwood in the master, an additional bedroom, and the upstairs hallway. We also had the stairs done in hardwood and new spindles, handrail, bolsters,etc… All of the flooring had previously been carpeted. The project was completed in just 3 days. The floors and carpet are gorgeous and we love the new staircase. The quality of work was amazing. I highly recommend Shadow Wood flooring and will use again when I refinish the downstairs hardwoods.

Shadow Wood Flooring did an outstanding job for us from start to finish! Pedro came to our house, explained the different options we could choose from and worked with us to come up with a great option that would fit our budget. We did all the flooring in our basement and main floor. Miranda worked with us to split up the project so we could schedule around other projects we were having completed at the same time. They carpeted the whole basement. They were able to source turf for one room in the basement and install it at the same time as the carpet. We put LVP in the main floor. I'm a forever customer; Shadow Wood Flooring is where I'll be going for all of my home renovations. They saved me from so much headache and saved the holidays for my family. Unfortunately soon after we moved in late summer, our home flooded on the main floor and basement floor in early-mid November 2021. We already had a lot going on as holidays were around the corner, and I was pregnant and due in early December. Our insurance company tried to defer any compensation possible- they basically told us our insurance plan does not cover any water damage since the flood stemmed from a damaged pipe on the outside of our home. Our insurance company gave us a list of reputable flooring places to call for mediation. We called a few places and this is where Shadow Wood Flooring came in. I told them what I was going through and they immediately offered to be our advocates. They reviewed our insurance plan and spoke to our insurance provider- and our insurance's decision to not cover flooring damage was overturned. Mind you this was all happening during supply chain shortages and delays right before the holidays- Our insurance company wanted us to find the old flooring to fix a patch but that was nearly impossible- the home was built nearly 6 years ago and we don't know which flooring the previous owners and builder chose. All I had to do was meet up with Miranda at the showroom to pick out our flooring and the rest was taken care of. Miranda showed my insurance that the old flooring didn't exist through due process. Miranda and Pedro made the process seamless. When all was said and done, they were able to get through to my insurance complete repair process of my main floor and basement floor done a few days before I had to give birth even though I went into labor a week early! Miranda, Pedro, and their team were awesome. Not only is their work top notch, they made sure we were satisfied with the work done. They are professional experts in flooring (there was so many moving parts!)- they took the reign and kept us informed through the entire process. I was so busy with my toddler and everything else going on- I was just very lucky to have Miranda's help. I can't thank SWF enough. I absolutely love my new floors and can't recommend working with Shadow Wood Flooring enough. They were fabulous to work with from beginning to end. They came to my home and met with me to help me decide on the right type of floors. They were patient with me when I changed my mind on the product choice [almost] twice. The installation crew that came out were super nice and really professional. They took such care with the installation and even had a professional cleaning crew to clean up. They left my house cleaner than we left it for them (because we had all the floors replaced, we moved into a hotel for a couple nights). They even reconnected our electronics! I was dreading having to reconnect my cable set up and when we got home, it was all done for us. They worked two days straight for more than 12 hours each day without hardly taking time out to eat. I will do definitely hire them again to do the one room we waited to do (a bathroom that we plan to remodel next year).

Outstanding sub-floor prep on my 30 year old house. The floors are perfectly level with zero squeaks. The installer, Afonso, was very proud of his work and provided photos and video of all of the repairs he did. We also appreciated Pedro, the owner, bringing by a dozen boards of our final selection so we could be sure on the color before we pulled the trigger.

Pedro and his team were very professional throughout the whole experience. After my new flooring was installed, Pedro personally came and cleaned it because I mentioned that it felt a bit rough, and the issue was resolved after that. Solid experience, from estimate to install. Two man team was very efficient finishing a very large job in just under two days. Pedro the service rep was professional and knowledgeable about his product which is tough, beautiful and as waterproof as you can get. We had multiple estimates so we know the pricing was fair. if you are considering buying your own floors and hiring an installer I recommend you include Shadow Wood in your estimates and consider the product they carry from Palmetto Flooring....20 mil ceramic top layer is about as touch as it comes with a rigid center. We are very happy with Shadow Wood's products and services. They recently replaced most of the flooring in our home. With Pedro's thorough explanation of options in their showroom (and later in our home to test samples), to Alfonso and his crew's expert installation, and Miranda's clear and consistent communication and follow up, the process was painless. To be honest, there are many similar flooring products from various retailers and we could have tackled much of it DIY; however, the real value and benefit of choosing experienced professionals like SWF is their attention to tricky corners, trims, uneven surfaces, and transitions. They were meticulous. The workers were always careful, polite and cleaned up as they worked in our home. Without hesitation, I would recommend Shadow Wood Flooring.

I recently contracted with Shadow Wood flooring to replace engineered hardwood that had been water damaged with LVP Flooring. I can not say enough good things about the crew, led by Afonso, who did the install. Afonso was very detailed and did a great job removing the old flooring and installing the new. Shadow wood installed new LVP floors in our house almost 3 years ago and did an amazing job. The floors are super durable but the other day when moving furniture, a nail scrapped across our floors. I called Shadow wood this morning to see if they had any product recommendations that I should purchase that might help repair the damage. Miranda sent Pedro out the same day to help us fix the scratches that were completely our fault 3 years post install. We were amazed. Talk about amazing customer service!! Miranda and Pedro provided great service and suggestions when we were picking out our new hardwood flooring and carpeting at their store. The team who ultimately installed our hardwood flooring was fantastic! They worked all day, every day, for a week to make sure our old flooring was removed, replaced with new sub-flooring, and the new hardwood installed beautifully. Then, the carpet team came in. I refinished all the hardwoods and replaced all the carpet in the living areas with them. Absolutely incredible. Pedro and Clay provided us with a great experience and beautiful new engineered hardwoods. Our experience with Shadow Wood began by Pedro coming by our home and providing us with an estimate. I am someone who very much doesn't like a pushy salesman and Pedro was NOT that. He was very thoughtful, patient, and knowledgable. He answered all of our questions and provided some good advice. Later, we visited the store to view more samples and again Pedro and Miranda were very patient with us while we made the decision with which flooring to go with. We finally landed on a couple of different ones and Pedro let us take home the samples so we could see which ones we liked better in our own home. We decided on a natural engineered hardwood and scheduled the appointment. The quote was delightfully below our expectations. We decided to move forward and the installation was installed 4 days after we started the process. Our quote was on Friday and the install was scheduled for Tuesday. Clay arrived promptly Tuesday morning and he and his team first started by very carefully moving our furniture and wrapping in plastic wall decor, light fixtures, etc. I loved the care they had for our valuable things. They did a hard day of work on Tuesday and ripped out our old glued down hardwoods. It was noisy and dusty - but what else would you expect? They did an excellent job and finished the day by leveling out the concrete. The second day the began installation. Everything went smoothly and they didn't seem to mind my numerous questions. After the install was complete they cleaned up very well. There were a few minor missed spots of glue that were on the floor or left on the floor, but other than that they did a thorough clean of the floor and blew off the dust from the walls. The final day, today, Pedro sent a cleaning crew to follow up and everything is now comfortable and clean! Clay was especially fantastic to work with. He answered all of my questions and was very polite and enjoyable to work with. I would absolutely use Shadow Wood again in the future.

So happy I chose Shadow Wood to do my hardwood flooring! I just moved to the area, and was a bit hesitant to trust the job to someone I found online, but it turned into a great experience, I will most definitely call them back for any future work! They took up carpet in three rooms, laid down new wood and then stained and finished it all, and during that entire process they were polite, clean, punctual and friendly! But most important, they went above and beyond for me, pointed a few areas that would benefit from a little extra work, and talked me out of spending too much on areas that were fine just the way they were. If I could give it 10 stars I would.. This company is very professional. They came right on time remove all the carpets and put down hardwoods over 1000 sf you can see the results. Late last year we had a tree company drop a tree on our house. We had a General Contractor come and fix the house that the tree affected. When Pedro came and gave us an estimate he was very informative and explained everything that needed to be done. They came out and did the job quickly and well. We had a few issues in the transition areas from the other floor company the contractor's hired. This in no way was Shadow Woods issue but they came out and fixed the issues without delay and at no extra cost. I would 100% hire them again. We are getting our carpets stairs replaced to wood or LVT flooring. We will be calling this company back to fix any flooring needs we have. With any home improvement project that you're trusting with others, it goes a long way to have reassurances. I expressed some concern early on to Miranda because my last experience paying someone for home improvement ended very negatively and I still had a bad taste in my mouth. Miranda took some time to talk with me and offered assurance that I'd get the attention I needed. She then scheduled Pedro to come out and get measurements within a week. Pedro was both personable and professional, taking time to show me samples of what they offered as well as his personal recommendations. I was also pleasantly surprised at how quickly they were able to schedule an install (roughly 2-3 days after Pedro came out). Originally, the install was scheduled to be a 2-day process, but shipping problems out of their control forced them to reschedule on a Saturday. Alfonso and his team were there first thing in the morning and put in about 13-14 hours in one day to ensure that the new floor was installed and done well. Miranda called me the following day to see if I had any questions and to check on my overall level of satisfaction. I have a number of home improvement projects I'm slowly working through, but when it's time to put new carpet upstairs, I'll be giving this company my business again.

Our renovations were just completed by Shadow Wood Flooring and we are extremely pleased with the great job they did for us. From the start, the owners, Pedro and Miranda, quickly responded to our request to come out and look at our project. Within a couple days, Pedro was at our home and was very thorough in his inspection of the work and of our written scope. We wanted our 2nd floor carpeting removed and replaced with pre-finished solid hardwood and our 1st floor which had existing hardwood floors had to be re-finished and stained to closely match the 2nd floor. Additionally, we had our stairs re-carpeted and new decorative iron stair spindles installed. They were very helpful in assisting us to select the correct pre-finished floor material, the carpet and worked with us to get a correct stain for the 1st floor. They handled moving of the furniture upstairs to facilitate the floor installation as well as moving our 1st floor furniture completely out of our home while they sanded, stained, sealed and applied poly to the existing floor. We wish to also thank their skilled crews led by Clay Silva, Juan Castro who did the pre-finished floor and Juliano and his guys who performed the sanding/stain. Great care was taken by the crews to be careful of our furniture as well as draping poly sheets to keep dust off of our shelving and personal items. Clean-up was done after every day's work, all demo material hauled away and we always were informed of when and what time the work would commence each day until completion. Additionally, both Pedro and/or Miranda would makes trips to our home to make sure everything was going well and to our satisfaction. Communication is an often used term, but it truly happened with us and that makes the entire process so much easier. Shadow Wood Flooring's price was very competitive and thorough and we feel that we have received great value for the work performed. We highly recommend Shadow Wood Flooring and we selected them mostly due to the great reviews we read on-line prior to beginning our project. Now, we are one of their highly satisfied clients.

We have had Shadow Wood Flooring at our home to do three different jobs! All were done great, in a timely manner and there is no mess left when they leave! The last time they put wood in our master bedroom and we love it! They were able to match the rest of the wood in our home (which they had done). Basement Slab Leveled and Floor Install Small basement room @240 sf. We had a previous plumbing issue and the floor was not leveled correctly after repair. Clay and crew leveled and sanded. Floor installed in on day. Color match with existing hallway hardwood is virtually identical, for an older home. Miranda was amazing, coming out and getting us the floor we wanted, in less than a week. Work area clean and furniture replace. They did a great job.

I cannot say enough good things about doing business with Shadow Wood Flooring. First off, I like to do business with small local businesses, so my search for a flooring company started there. I had several local companies come out to give me quotes, but was the most impressed with the knowledge and expertise that Pedro brought with him. He helped us make the best decision on what flooring type to go with and Shadow Wood came in with the best price to boot. They were even willing to delay the job for several months and honor their original quote so my wife could finish teaching for the year. Clay and his team came today to do the install and did a fantastic job. They knocked out to fairly large rooms in one day. And I threw them a curve ball and asked if there was any way they could also do the stairs leading up to the second level (this was not in the original quote) and they worked it out so they could come back tomorrow and squeeze it in for me. The simple reality though after working with everyone is that they have absolutely earned all the high ratings. Pedro was very good at explaining our options and putting us at ease that we could make an informed decision. Miranda and the nice lady at the store were efficient and helpful getting our floor selection complete. Clay and his crew were exceptionally conscientious and hard working completing the job downstairs floor cleanup and installation in one day and leaving it in fantastic shape. I was at work when the staining crew came to address the newly hardwood stairs so I didn't get their names but the results were awesome. Bottom line, my floors and stairs look fantastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone with a flooring project in the area.

Shadow Wood Flooring helped us determine what flooring material would suit our needs the best, provided a free estimate, and did an great job with the installation. They had a wide selection of samples which helped us pick the right look for our home. Our installation crew was led by Clay and they took care of moving our furniture and they protected counters, stairs, and other things from dust with plastic sheets. They removed our old flooring, did all the floor prep, glued down our new flooring, and replaced all of the quarter-round molding. We would definitely hire them again.

We recently purchased a home in John's Creek, GA and one of our first projects was replacing the carpeting in two bedrooms with engineered hardwood flooring. I searched the "NextDoor" app for flooring recommendations and found that Shadow Wood Flooring came highly recommended from multiple people in our neighborhood. I called Shadow Wood and was greeted with excellent customer service and professionalism from Katie. We wanted to track down the same type of flooring that was in our master bedroom and Katie worked diligently on the task. She suggested that we come to the showroom to look at some samples. Pedro & Miranda met us at the showroom and offered several different options that might match what we were looking for in our new home. They explained the different options in detail and answered all of our questions. They offered suggestions on what would work well and what wouldn't and we are thankful for their guidance. Pedro came out a few days later with the samples we chose and to provide an estimate. We narrowed down our choice and Pedro was able to schedule the install within a week. We didn't find flooring to match what was in the master bedroom but we are happier with the flooring that we chose to go in the two bedrooms on the main level. The install crew came out on a Saturday and had the job completed by the end of the day. They removed all the old carpet, made sure the sub-floor was in good shape (repaired where needed), and installed the new flooring. They were efficient, thorough, and courteous. Pedro & Miranda are such a great team to work with! They are super responsive, helpful & just want to make it perfect. I was so overwhelmed at first trying to choose flooring, stains, carpet fibers, etc. - but their product knowledge made us confident we were getting what we need. Their first project with us was in April installing hardwoods in our master bedroom & sitting room. We're excited to start a new project with them this fall - installing luxury vinyl tile + carpet in our basement.

To say they are awesome in every aspect possible will be an understatement. I had carpet installed at the house I sold. And then new carpet at 2 levels and new hardwood floors at main level at the house I bought. Pedro was available very quickly to come over to give quote. At new house he came over within an hour of notice while I was getting inspection done. He and Miranda was very knowledgeable about everything to do with flooring, colors, etc. They were helpful in guiding us in selecting the carpet and floor stain colors. I am currently dealing with contractors who won’t reply back to my texts for days or ever in some cases while both Miranda and Pedro were always available on text, phone call, and even face time on weekdays and weekends, even at 7-8pm! They and their crew were extremely professional during installation and followed up before and after multiple times for everything to go smoothly. And lastly their prices were very reasonable for the quality work they do. If you don’t use their services you are doing a mistake. Period.

They not only sourced it but matched the price I was quoted and even used a better higher quality pad. The crew showed up at the specified time. Pedro and his crew are AMAZING!! I was recently moving to a new home and wanted the basement floors redone. Visited their showroom and was happy to find a large selection to choose from. Found the exact tile I was looking for and thats the only hard thing I had to do. The crew came in and took out the old floor, leveled the concrete and had my tile in within couple days. I was happy to see that it was installed as if it were going in their own house. Just wanted to rave about the magnificent work Pedro and his team did at our home. We had the floors re-stained, hardwoods added in our master bedroom and upstairs loft and hallway, and carpet replaced everywhere else. They replaced the white wood staircase spindles with black rod iron which gave the area an entirely new look. We are thrilled with the finished project. It's like living in a brand new house. The installation was amazingly fast and well done. And I can't recommend Shadow Wood Flooring enough. I had been planning on getting new flooring put in for my living room and had run the costs of doing it myself not to mention the labor. I owed it to myself to see what the local flooring store could do for the same budget and I am so glad I did. Shadow Wood Flooring is your modern day Mom and Pop shop. They had a great selection of styles to choose from and with having two dogs I picked out the right flooring option for me. Pedro came out and measured my place, figured out the split level stairs and it all fit the budget. I scheduled the job the next week and in the morning before work let Pedro and the crew in and they got started and I went to work. I came back at lunch to check on the dogs and they looked to be half done already. The crew took up the old carpet and padding, cleaned the slab, and knocked out most of the upper living room. On the lower living room they removed more carpet, they fixed and leveled the floor and knocked out the rest of the flooring. By the time I was home at the end of the day the job was wrapping up. It was amazing! In one day they did the entire job quickly, professionally and exceptionally well done. And now I come home and the gross old carpet left from the previous owner is gone and I have my beautiful new flooring. It feels like I am living in a brand new house.

Shadow installed two floors of hardwood, replacing all carpet and matching some existing floors on the lower level that were installed over 10 years ago-Great looking and exceptional job overall. Pedro kept the initial appointment (two other contractors did not turn up) and provided a competitive quote. The company installed all hardwood and completed a shower refurbishment (great assistance from Miranda at the showroom in choosing tiles for the shower that matched the existing floor to keep overall cost down) within two weeks, as per the agreed time. Very high-quality work at a reasonable price.

The difference of our floors before and after refinishing is amazing. Working with Pedro and Miranda was very easy and the result was better than when we originally installed the hardwoods. Their refinishers were fast, professional and very detailed. The end result is exceptional, they are highly recommended.

My floors are beautiful! I contracted Shadowood Floors to replace the carpeting in my upstairs and refinish the existing hardwoods downstairs. The process was smooth and ran on time from the initial consultation all the way through completion of the installation. Pedro is a perfectionist and you can tell that he and Miranda care about making sure everything is completed correctly. The stain for refinishing the downstairs was custom mixed and it matches great with the new wood upstairs. I am happy to support local businesses in our community. The installers arrived exactly when they were scheduled. They were very courteous and very detailed in the installation and the cleanup. They even handled some extras for me while replacing drywall where the leak had occurred. In my living room, the former owner had an intercom on the wall that was a real eyesore, now you can’t even tell it was there. I bought a new toilet and vanity for the bathroom and they installed this as well and at a very reasonable cost. The floors turned out great.
